Shiva Moghaddasi

Shiva Moghaddasi (Shiva Studios) is a Richmond Hill based multidisciplinary freelance artist since 2009. She holds a B.Arts (Iran) and a B.Des (OCAD U – Canada). Her work includes a variety of creative pottery & textile art, ranging from hand build clay sculptures to hand woven textiles.

Her body of work exhibited at Toronto's Feminist Art Collective exhibit in Spring 2018 brings awareness to elderly abuse in healthcare institutions; while in her other work she had explored oppression forced on women and the notion of hushed and obedient women through her paintings on silk fabrics.

She is currently working with clay on a body of work for her 2020 exhibit in Toronto, Canada.
