My investigation in pottery focuses primarily on functional ware because I believe even the most mundane and humble objects, if beautifully crafted and designed, can elevate our daily rituals into simple pleasures.

 

With a professional background as an Architect, my pottery is strongly influenced by my architectural & graphic design background and a contemporary aesthetic. My pottery tends to have very simple geometric forms which are decorated with hand illustrations, clay slip sculpting, or overlapping glazes.
