I am inspired by Shoji Hamada, Nature, and a contemporary function vs design aesthetic.

I have been an art educator for over 30 years now, but I have been a serious potter for the last three years. I also love painting, drawing, and woodworking.

 

My work is mostly created on the wheel, but I have recently been exploring hand-building and sculptural forms.
